Coral is a well-known betting and gambling entity in the UK, and the Gibraltan company has been operating since 2002. However, a dearth of esports betting options and a shady online reputation make this site one to avoid until conditions improve. Show more.
To find the esports section of the site, find the ‘Sports A-Z’ menu on the left side of the screen, then select ‘Esports’. So far Coral has barely considered the possibility of dipping their toe into the esports scene, as the company has only offered esports betting for a single event: The League of Legends Master Series a few years ago.
At that time, the usual betting lines (match and set winners) was available, but proposition bets were not included. Since that time, the Coral website doesn’t indicate that other esports leagues or tournaments have been covered, leaving esports bettors without anything to do on Coral’s site. In theory, in-play betting should be possible, although the lack of esports betting options at present precludes it.
Withdrawals are handled swiftly, with e-wallet payments taking up to 24 hours after processing. Credit and debit cards are a little slower at two to five days, while bank transfers can take three to five days to complete. A withdrawal limit of £250,000 per day is instituted, but the vast majority of gamblers shouldn’t run into that particular issue!
Coral is licensed by two UK authorities: the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority and the UK Gambling Commission. This should give some peace of mind, but review of online forums include numerous complaints regarding the site’s customer service, paying-out policies and other issues. For that reason, we advise caution when betting on the site; you may wish to find an alternative site.
You can talk to Coral customer service agents via their support line, which is 0800 44 0011. (Outside the UK, call +44 1483 716 541. You can also contact the company via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or even write them a letter to their Gibraltar address. Live chat support is not offered, however, putting Coral behind many of its competitors. Show less.
