League of Legends Match Odds

League of Legends is one of the most exciting esports to watch, particularly when you’ve got money on the line! Here are a selection of upcoming matches, including their odds in the traditional decimal format. That means if you have 3:1 odds that Team A will win over Team B, you’ll get $30 back on a $10 bet if you successfully bet on Team B, or $10 back on a $30 bet if you successfully bet on Team A. Usually the odds are closer to even than this, so use your best judgement to decide if you’re likely to come out ahead!

Upcoming League of Legends Odds and Matches

League of Legends is somewhat unusual for an esport in that the vast majority of the public’s attention goes to matches that take place within the developer’s official series, most notably the League Champions Series in Europe and North America.

These leagues split into Spring and Summer competitions, each of which includes nine weeks of round robin play, playoffs, and a promotion and relegation period where poorly performing teams move into the lower Challenger Series and the best Challengers move up.

Other competitions in China, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau are also held, with many broadcast in English.

The top teams from each region take part in the exhibition-style Mid-Season Invitational and the ultimate test, the World Championship at the end of the year.

Korea is viewed as the most competitive region, and successful teams in the country’s domestic competition –  League of Legends Champions Korea – are almost always favourites for Worlds. Teams to look out for are SKT T1, Samsung Galaxy, KT Rolster and ROX Tigers.

China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau also field teams that can do well internationally, most notably Flash Wolves and ahq e-sports club (TW), World Elite and Edward Gaming (CN).

However, top teams from Europe and North America are still capable of competing at a high level. G2 Esports, Unicorns of Love, H2K Gaming and Fnatic are all strong European teams with passionate supporters, while Team SoloMid, Cloud 9 and Phoenix1 carry the banner in North America.

While League of Legends remains a team sport, individual players can shape the game in dramatic ways. Here are some of the best in the world, players that win games almost single-handedly when they’re firing on all cylinders.

In the top lane, Smeb (ROX Tigers) and Duke (SKT T1) are two players you shouldn’t take your eyes off. Faker (SKT T1) and Bjergsen (TSM) are two transformational players in their native regions at the mid position. When it comes to AD carries, Deft (Edward Gaming), Bang (SKT T1) and Pray (ROX Tigers) are all worth watching. Jungle players require a unique skillset, and mastering it has made players like Clearlove (Edward Gaming) and Peanut (ROX Tigers) stars of their team. Support players aren’t often in the spotlight but they’re still essential for a winning team; keep an eye out for Gorilla (ROX Tigers) and Mithy (G2 Esports).
