Daily CS:GO Betting Tips – Tuesday
Several CS:GO matchups are taking place at IEM Katowice, and we have the latest odds to help you out when it comes to placing bets. So, who are the favorites, and who may spring a surprise?
Team One vs Gambit Esports
First up, we have Team One vs Gambit Esports, and there’s an impressive discrepancy when you check out the odds. Across the board, Gambit Esports are viewed around +1.16 while Team One is way back around +4.89.
This is something of a surprise when you look at their recent form. Team One has been the victor in four of their last five, with one non-event, while Gambit has won three of their last five. However, over the longer term, Gambit has the better win ratio, and that may have something to do with the odds.
This game is certainly one to keep an eye on as the odds are leaning too far to one side, so there is a chance of an upset.
Cloud 9 vs Team Spirit
Another game from the same competition sees a match between Cloud 9 and Team Spirit. This game is more evenly split when you check out the odds with Cloud 9 sitting around +2.46 and Team Spirit around +1.51.
It’s easier to see why this matchup is so close as you check out the recent form of both teams. Cloud 9 has won two of their last five while Team Spirit has won three of their last five. Looking over the longer-term, Cloud 9 has had a win percentage of just over 57% while Team Spirit sits at 53%.
However, Cloud 9 has more experience than Team Spirit. That does mean their experience could pull them through leading to a cool win for anybody that backs them. Don’t be surprised if that’s the case.
Movistar Riders vs BIG
The final matchup is between Movistar Riders and BIG. Checking out the odds, we see BIG is sitting at +1.33 while Movistar Riders are back at +3.13, and that’s a big enough difference for anybody interested in betting on the match. However, it’s not as easy as that when working out how these odds have been reached.
Looking at their recent form, Movistar Riders have won their last five, and that’s impressive. BIG has won two of their last five, but they have lost two in a row and both to the same team. Overall, BIG does have the slightly better win percentage at 61% compared to 58.1% but that is such a slight difference.
Also, Movistar Riders did win the previous two matches against BIG, but they were close run things. Both games took place almost a year ago, and a lot has gone on since then, so you can’t read too much into the potential impact on this upcoming match.
This tournament has a number of games that could swing either way. Do check out the odds right before the matches to see if anything has changed to help you get the best odds in your favor.
