Daily Dota 2 Betting Tips – Friday
One of the largest Dota 2 tournament is underway, and as expected it’s all guns out for some of the best teams in the world. The Ukrainian based outfit and current world leaders, Natus Vincere currently leads the standings in the Upper Division after winning 4 of 4 matches. Looking at the first few matches, many teams such as EXTREMUM and Team Empire have really struggled to get a footing in the tourney with each of the teams picking only one win in three matches.
Match: No Techies vs EXTREMUM
Date: Friday 12 February
Time: 17:00
The group stages of ESL One CSI-Div. 1 Upper Division continues on Friday, with 5th placed No Techies taking on 6th placed EXTREMUM. In their first few games in the tournament, both teams have performed abysmally, with each of the teams picking only one win each in three matches. No Techies still has a game at hand against Team Unique, a team that is currently last in the group standings after losing three games in a row. Looking at Team Unique’s recent performance, we expect this match to be a formality for No Techies. A win against Team Unique will be critical in helping No Techies earn a top-three finish.
While No Techies are nowhere close to their best, they do look promising after losing only to the strongest teams in the group, Team Spirit and Natus Vincere. On the other hand, EXTREMUM has lost three games, winning only against last-placed Team Unique. Looking back at the EXTREMUM’s previous matches, the Russian based outfit is yet to impress on the big stage, performing poorly in all of the tournaments it participated in last year. In 2020, EXTREMUM finished 15th at ESL One Germany tournament and 16th at the Omega League Tier 2 tourney.
While both teams earned direct qualification to ESL, it’s No Techies who were clinical in the elimination rounds, winning all their b03 matches in under two matches. In the process, they earned direct qualification to ESL One. As expected, EXTREMUM is going to put up a solid fight, however, we simply do not see them winning this match.

Match: Team Empire vs Team Unique
Date: Friday 12 February
Time: 20:00
Team Empire and Team Unique are scheduled to meet in what promises to be a highly contested battle. After losing all of its 3 matches in the Upper Division, Team Unique will be more than determined to get a win over Team Empire and improve its overall ranking. Like EXTERUM, Team Empire has only won one match, losing 3 matches in a row. Currently, both EXTERUM and Team Empire are tied for 6th place, with only one team behind them, Team Unique.
In the elimination rounds, Team Empire was quite impressive defeating all two teams in the Upper Bracket Round 1 and Round 2 matches to earn a direct qualification to this year’s tournament. While Team Empire and Team Unique have never met before, we expect Team Empire to have an upper hand in this match. The Russian-based outfit which happens to be the country’s largest and best-known gaming organization is quite experienced having been active since 2011.
Ever since its inception, the team has won various tournaments including the 2017 Rog Masters, Dota Champions League Season 5, MLG Pro League, and many others. Based on the overall team experience and the depth of the squad, we expect Team Empire to get the win over Team Unique.
Pick: Team Empire, -263 @SportsBetting.ag
