Warzone Wednesday – Week 9 Preview
After last week’s tournament was cancelled, we take a look at tonight’s instalment. Week 9 of Warzone Wednesday, lets try again
Two weeks ago Warzone Wednesday was cancelled due to unstable North American Warzone servers. This meant that some players were disconnecting from the servers randomly or were unable to access them at all.
This caused Keemstar to postpone the tournament. Following this it was postponed once more due to BLM protests. Many players requested double winnings for this week, meaning the team which comes out victorious will win $40,000, however this is not confirmed.
Last week it was the NICKMERCS MFAM Gauntlet which took place. This saw SuperEvan’s team go back-to-back and win their second month in a row. While DougisRaw & Symfuhny came second and Vikkstar, WarsZ & Jukeyz came third.
Warzone Wednesday uses a groups to double elimination bracket style format, an explanation of this can be found here.

Many excellent teams enter the tournament, while the above are subject to change, teams such as Vikkstar & WarsZ, Bobbypoff & Tommey and NICKMERCS & Swagg enter most weeks. Yet again, we’re backing Vikkstar & WarsZ to win. The british duo seem to be unstoppable.
Although they came third in the MFAM Gauntlet the bracket style of Warzone Wednesday clearly favours the style of Vikk and WarsZ. Until they lose, I consider them the favourites to win and take their fourth win in a row.
Warzone Wednesday starts at 4PM EST and lasts around 7 hours. You can watch on the official stream or your favourite competitors to watch the chaos in action.
