BetBull Esports Betting Review

BetBull first hit the betting scene in 2015, although its parent company has been around since 2003. Betbull is possibly one of the most unique betting platforms we have seen, acting as both a betting website but also provides advice through a community sharing betting tips. Whilst BetBull is primarily based around its mobile applications, you can login on a web browser to get advice and place wagers.

There is a wide abundance of games and markets available on BetBull, ranging from your traditional sports to upcoming popular esports titles. There is also a Casino mode available on the platform. There are some interesting features available that we will break down throughout this review.

Hopefully after this review you will have a good idea on what the BetBull platform entails and if it’s something that will enhance your betting experience.

Games Available

Whilst BetBull may not offer the most extensive esports range, esports fans will be pleased to know they do offer the most popular games. The following games are available to bet on:

  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO)
  • Dota 2
  • League of Legends
  • Overwatch
  • StarCraft 2

With CS:GO, League of Legends and Dota 2 typically being the most popular betting options from the esports sector, BetBull have ensured they have an extensive, active market in those titles.

The inclusion of Overwatch and StarCraft are nice additions to their esports market, but it would be nice to see these options continue to grow. With more esports titles and leagues stepping into franchised and/or officially formatted leagues, it’s creating a more clearly structured set-up for those interested in betting. For example, seeing the likes of Call of Duty being added would be great, especially following the games transition into the Call of Duty League which offers regular matches for users to wager on.

Whilst there are other platforms out there that offer a wider range of esports titles to place bets on, we think BetBull can be let off with their limited selection. This is because of the unique nature of the BetBull experience, offering advice for all bets and having a community to assist with outcomes.

Support

You will be pleased to know that BetBull offers a 24/7 live support chat. To quote them, it is “support that never sleeps”. As well as the 24/7 chat support, you can also find a Help Centre and the option to send your feedback to them if you wish.

Conclusion

Overall it seems like BetBull do big a great service to the table across the board. A downside for some will be the limited esports titles they cover, however, the community aspect that is available can make up for this.

When comparing them to other bookmakers, they definitely offer a niche market. If the game you like is offered at BetBull and you want a way to track your performance and engage in a community, then it will be perfect for you.

Betting Markets

Those that bet regularly on esports will be aware that each esport title will tend to have a different range of betting markets depending on the specific game. This is no different with BetBull, they adjust the range of options to the respective format of gameplay.

CS:GO Betting Markets

CS:GO typically has the biggest range of options of any esport when it comes to the betting market. If the series only consists of 1 map, you will only find a couple of options. However, you can find the following options depending on the format:

  • Match Winner
  • Maps Handicap
  • Maps Total
  • Rounds Handicap for each map
  • Winner of each individual map
  • Total rounds in each map
  • Winner of the pistol rounds
  • Rounds won by a team on each map
  • Whether or not there will be overtime
  • If the total rounds are odd or even

As you can tell, there are plenty of options and each of these will provide a unique opportunity, often helping to increase the odds and potential of higher returns.

League of Legends Betting Markets

League of Legends on the other hand doesn’t tend to have quite as many options in comparison to CS:GO, but there are some interesting options available:

  • Match winner
  • Maps handicap
  • First dragon type
  • Team to destroy first Inhibitor
  • Map Transformation (Rifts)

Dota 2 Betting Markets

Dota 2 is very similar to that of League of Legends, as can be expected with both games consist of similar gameplay, formats and outcomes. Below are a list of the Dota 2 betting options you can expect from BetBull.

  • Match Winner
  • Individual map winner
  • First blood (kill) for each game
  • First to 15 kills for each game
  • First to 20 kills for each game

Oddly, we couldn’t find any options for handicaps, which might make increasing the value of odds when there is a clear favourite, much more difficult.

BetBull Esports Bonuses, Codes & Offers

For those chasing a good promotion deal, BetBull always run sign up bonuses. These can vary depending on if they are running a specific promotion, but you can always expect to get a solid sign-up deal.

As it stands right now, they don’t appear to have any other offers available. It’s possible this could change moving forward, especially when regular sports start to get back to normal, but unfortunately it is only the sign-up offer for now.

BetBull Banking Options

As with many bookmakers, the deposit and withdraw options are sometimes were users will lose interest. Both deposits and withdrawals have options to do so using a Debit / Credit card using VISA or Mastercard services, Paysafecard, Neteller or Skrill.

A major plus side is that there are no transaction fees for depositing or withdrawing on the BetBull platform. However, a downside is that PayPal isn’t supported yet.

Key information:
£5 minimum deposit
£10 minimum withdrawal (typically takes two to three days to process).
