LeoVegas is another traditional betting site that has since expanded into esports betting, covering the three largest esports titles (and Heroes of the Storm). The site boasts a modern design that loads quickly, and the addition of map handicap and proposition bets elevate LeoVegas above older sites that offer match winner betting only. The site has also attracted a strong reputation in its nearly ten years of operations, and offers good support options and rapid withdrawals as well. However, LeoVegas is lacking in some areas. Educate yourself with our full review!
To visit the esports section of the site, you’ll have to do a little digging. Hit the Sports button in the navigation bar underneath the LeoVegas logo, then ‘Show all’ in the menu that appears below. From here, you can select ‘E-Sports’ to get a listing of all live and upcoming matches; it’s also possible to see only specific games by clicking ‘Browse E-Sports’. It might be worth bookmarking this page so you can get back here quickly on later occasions!
LeoVegas support four of the largest esports titles: Dota 2, League of Legends, Counter-Strike and Heroes of the Storm. Most major (and many minor) matches from each game are covered on the site, allowing for a lot of different betting opportunities. Match and map winner betting are standard, and handicap betting is also commonplace.
Some matches also offer proposition bets, such as the total number of rounds in a Counter-Strike match or the total number of hero kills in a Dota 2 match. While it’s nice to see proposition bets available, we’ve seen more comprehensive options on more esports-focused sites. Live, in-play betting is possible, but no live stream is embedded to make things a little easier on you.
LeoVegas is backed by a trio of licenses from the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission and even the Danish Gambling Authority. That should provide potential bettors with some confidence in their operations, as should the company’s relatively strong online reputation. The site has been running since 2008, and has generally attracted positive reviews.
Withdrawals are handled promptly, with a pending time of 24 hours. Following this, e-wallets take less than 24 hours, while credit cards, debit cards and bank transfers can take between two and five days.
Live support is offered at LeoVegas, should you have any issues or questions about betting on the site. The site also offers a support email address – simply support@leovegas.com. Finally, there are a couple of phone numbers for British and international bettors – 0808 189 0184 for those in the UK, and 00 356 277 811 87 for bettors outside of it.
Sadly, LeoVegas isn’t offering any promotions applicable to esports bettors right now. We’ll keep checking the site, and update this section once we find a bonus you can use!
