With the esports industry in the United States continuing to grow, there are some major companies that are looking to get involved. Esports teams and leagues have also been searching for partnerships or sponsors, and there were some big news stories over the last few weeks.

These partnerships are only going to add to the excitement of esports, and should lead to even bigger things for the rest of the year. Here are some of the most recent esports partnerships and sponsorships that stand out.

Riot Games and Kia Teaming Up

Riot Games is one of the biggest names when it comes to esports, but it’s also a company that recently went through some rough times. It was announced that Riot Games laid off a number of employees and there are some concerns about how it will impact the games.

Not all of the news from Riot Games has been negative in 2024 though as the company announced a brand new partnership with Kia. Kia is a Korean automotive company, and it should provide some additional funds that will lead to some exciting new opportunities.

This new partnership came just as the 2024 North American League Championship Series (LCS) was set to begin. The LCS is the competitive series of League of Legends, and that is a game that continues to be extremely popular.

Kia is going to benefit from this new partnership as well as it will be able to advertise and promote its brand right on the game. The league awards have been renamed to reflect the new sponsorship as well, and some money was thrown at Riot Games in order to improve those awards.

This partnership was simply an extension of a previous deal as Kia is going to continue to sponsor some of the other League of Legends events around the world.

Counter-Strike Focused on Betting

Not only are more people getting involved with playing esports games, but the betting aspect of this industry has taken off as well. BLAST Premier is one of the biggest circuits when it comes to Counter-Strike and it just announced a partnership with GG.BET.

GG.BET is one of the online sportsbooks that posts odds for Counter-Strike matchups, and now those odds will be integrated into the live broadcasts. This will make it easier for fans and viewers to see the live odds, and they will now know where to go to make those wagers.

This new partnership will also create new exclusive content centered around CS:GO, and that content will come from people at GG.BET. While this is a brand new partnership, GG.BET has already locked up deals with other games, or gaming companies.

It was also recently announced that GG.BET plans to continue its partnership with NAVI in 2024 as that is a deal that has benefited both sides.

FaZe Clan Gets Exciting Partner

FaZe Clan is one of the top teams when it comes to CS:GO, and that group has been quick to add new partners and sponsors over the last few years. Just recently, FaZe Clan announced a partnership with Rollbit, which is a cryptocurrency casino that continues to attract new customers.

While not all of the details of the new partnership were announced, this is reportedly a deal that is worth millions of dollars. The report stated that this was one of the biggest deals ever made in the esports industry, and it should help FaZe Clan even more success moving forward.

Rollbit has been trying to get involved with as many clubs as possible and it recently inked a deal with SSC Napoli.
