Betting on ALGS Split 1 Playoffs

The ALGS Split 1 Playoffs are set to begin on May 2, and all of that action is going to wrap up on May 5 as a champion will be crowned. This is the first major tournament of the year for Apex Legends, and it will feature teams from all around the world.

Teams have been working hard to qualify for this international event, and there will be some great action that takes place. Not only will this be a fun event to follow, but there are also going to be some great betting options as well.

This event is going to feature teams that don’t normally meet up, and that will create some intrigue. There will be a number of great ways to bet on this event, but trying to bet on the outright winner will come with the biggest potential win.

Here is a look at some of the top betting odds that are out there for this event.

A Trio of Favorites

When it comes time to bet on the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs, there are going to be three teams to really focus on at the beginning. TSM is coming into this event as the current betting favorites at +400, and they are a team that has had success on the international scene in the past.

Even though TSM is the betting favorite for this tournament, there is still some value in getting them at +400 to win the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs. There are two other teams that aren’t far behind though, and those teams can end up going on a run to win the title as well.

DarkZero Esports will be another team to watch, and they are always a big threat anytime that they compete on the international level. DarkZero Esports has betting odds set at +600, and they are followed closely by alliance at +650.

Those are the three teams that are expected to be near the top of the leaderboard, but at some point they will have to battle it out with each other.

Other Top Contenders

Since this is going to be the first international event of the year, it’s not going to be easy to predict what will happen. With that in mind, it’s a good idea to try to search out the top Apex contenders as that is how you can get more betting value.

Aurora Gaming has had some success already in 2024, and they are coming into this event at +800. That’s really where things start to fall off a bit, but that doesn’t mean that other teams can’t be in the mix.

LEGACY is always a team to watch when it comes to Apex Legends and they have betting odds set at +900 to win this tournament. Moist Esports is another team that is at +900 ahead of this tournament, and they are followed by Spacestation Gaming at +1000.

That is a loaded group of contenders for the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs, and it would be a shock if these teams didn’t at least make it to the final bracket.

Rest of the Odds

Every team set to compete this week will have betting odds available, but there are some teams that will be eliminated right away. Since these are future odds, they can always improve for teams as well, especially if there are some big upsets that take place.

Here are some of the other teams that have had success in past events and could make a run this year as well:

  • Natus Vincere (NAVI) +1100
  • Elev8 Gaming +1100
  • Legends Gaming +1100
  • REJECT WINNITY +1200
  • Luminosity Gaming +1400
  • Made in Heaven +1400
