FIFA eChampions League Finals Preview & Best Betting Markets

Eight of the top professional FIFA players will be going head to head in the upcoming eChampions League Final, which will begin on May 31st, just before the UEFA Champions League final between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, which begins on June 1.

Countries represented include Bulgaria, USA, Brazil, France, Denmark, and Netherlands.

The prize pool will be $100,000 USD to the winner out of a $280,000 USD pot, as well as a VIP ticket to the Champions League final.

The eChampions League final will be taking place in Madrid, Spain.

According to an official report from UEFA, footballing legend Ruud Gullit stated that:

“The UEFA Champions League is a special competition in the footballing calendar for players and fans alike, I’m really excited to be attending the finals of this first edition of the eChampions League and to be able to witness at first hand some of the world’s best gamers going head-to-head in a Champions League environment.”

Ruud Gullit was once labeled as the best football player in Europe by UEFA, and has also won the European trophy twice with AC Milan.

The eight players attending the tournament are:

  • ?? DrNightWatch representing Bulgaria
  • ?? AlanAvi representing USA
  • ?? coL Joksan representing USA
  • ?? TG Zezinho representing Brazil
  • ?? Rafsou representing France
  • ?? NYC_Chris representing USA
  • ?? Marcuzo representing Denmark
  • ?? xLevVinken representing Netherlands

Each player will participate in a eChampions League draft to pick their teams, which contains footballers involved in the season’s UEFA Champions League group stage.

Both xLevVinken and coL Joksan could be favorites to take the event, considering the high amount of points both these players have in the FIFA 19 Playstation Global Series rankings.

Betting on FIFA eChampions League

If you’re wanting to back your favorite FIFA players in the upcoming eChampions League matches, then there are plenty of choices for either outright or per-match markets. For outrights, there is a clear differentiation between the top and bottom four players entering. coL Joksan (3.75) and xLevVinken (4.00) are clear favorites, with Night Watch (17.00) being the underdog.

As with traditional football, matches can change at a moment’s notice. So just because someone is the favorite doesn’t mean they’re a guaranteed win, even against an underdog.

If you’re not interested in guessing the outright winner, then you’ll have more fun with match winner markets. Four matches will be running in parallel, so if you’re placing multiple bets it may be tough to keep up with all the action. If you’re wanting to place a bet, don’t forget to get the most out of your bet with some esports betting bonuses!
