Team Vitality Leading the European Charge

Team Vitality ran the show in Europe over the course of the Spring Split as they took first place in the Spring Open, Spring Cup, and Spring Invitational. The reign of dominance coming from the French squad of  Alpha54, Radosin, and zen has convinced many fans and oddsmakers alike that the Boston Major is truly theirs to lose. They’ll have immense amounts of pressure from the get-go as everyone will be tuning in to see if they’ll keep up the dominance on an international stage.

Not only is Europe sending the team with the best odds to win the Boston Major, but they’re also sending the team with the 2nd best odds in Karmine Corp. Karmine Corp is having a wonderful competitive year, currently leading all of Europe in points with 202 and have already qualified for the Rocket League World Championship. They’ll look to gather some momentum before the season finale in Germany.

Another team to watch out for from Europe is Team BDS, who also had a solid Spring Split, getting 3rd place in the European Spring Open and Spring Cup before getting 2nd place in the Spring Invitational. Oddsmakers have them with the 4th best odds to take the tournament. Though they’re living in Team Vitality and Karmine Corp’s shadow right now, Team BDS could easily end up being the team to beat in Boston.

North American Hopes

Entering the tournament, Gen.G Mobil1 Racing is being viewed as North America’s best chance out of the teams being sent. Though they have the 3rd best odds of winning out of all the teams participating, many fans are more skeptical. Gen.G Mobil1 Racing started out the 2022-23 competitive season with a fast start; however, have slowed considerably since and hasn’t looked like the same team recently.

Despite racking up the most Spring Points out of the North American teams, Spacestation Gaming enters with the 3rd best odds to win the tournament of the North American representatives and tied for 7th among all the participants at the Boston Major. With everyone underestimating them, they’ll enter with a fire under their butts to prove the whole world wrong.
