Two action-packed seasons will be hosted by ESL, of which players will fight for a larger portion of the $650,000 prize pool. The first season (the ESL Mobile Spring) will kick-off in April and give players of all skill levels the opportunity to compete in the two tiers available – The ESL Mobile Open and the ESL Mobile Challenge. The Mobile Open is the early stage, where players will have the opportunity to work their way up through two Ladder stages and two Play-In stages. People who perform well after that round of fixtures will get a spot in the Mobile Challenge.

In the ESL Mobile Challenge, the top teams from the Mobile Open will compete against invited teams in a regular season. After all said and done, the top teams in the regular season will proceed to the Mobile Challenge Finals.

As what is becoming regular practice, all games in the ESL Mobile Open 2021 will be held online. However, subsequent finals competitions may be hosted live at major Esports events globally. Also, action from the ESL Mobile Challenge will be streamed live across all ESL Gaming platforms (Twitch and YouTube). It is worth noting that registration is free and players of all skill levels from the eligible countries and regions are welcome to register.
