Teams Starting to Qualify for MLBB Mid Season Cup

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is the organization that features the top players and teams from this sport, and it is a league that has continued to see some growth. There is great MLBB action taking place around the world at all times, but things are going to get even better in June.

The MLBB Mid Season Cup will feature 23 of the best teams in this sport, and they will all be competing for a share of the $3 million prize that is available. This event is going to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and it will be a part of the first ever Esports World Cup.

The official field for this event won’t be known until the end of May as there are qualifying events currently taking place around the world. Those qualifying events have brought plenty of drama and intrigue.

Here is a look at some of the teams that have already qualified for this event, and what the format for this tournament are going to look like.

Wild Card Phase

There are eventually going to be 16 teams on the final bracket, but that last spot isn’t going to be known until the action takes place at the Mid Season Cup. Eight teams from around the world are going to have a chance to qualify for a spot in the Wild Card Phase, and then those teams will battle it out until there is just one champion.

It seems highly unlikely that a team from the Wild Card Phase is going to be able to win a title, but at least one team is going to have a chance. There are only three teams that have currently qualified for a spot, but five more are on the way.

Entity7 is one of the teams that has qualified for a spot, and they come from the Latin American Region. Zino Zenith and FireFlux ESports have also qualified and they were able to claim a spot by picking up a big win in a regional tournament.

Group Stage

The group stage is where teams really want to qualify for as that will get them in a great position to go on a big run. There will eventually be 15 teams that qualify for a spot in the group stage, and the action is going to be heating up for those spots.

FireFlux Esports will actually have a team directly in the Group Stage as well, but they will be different players from the team that qualified for the Wild Card Phase. RRQ Akira is another of the teams that have qualified, and they are also from the Latin American Region.

The Gaimin Gladiators are the third team to have punched a ticket in the Group Stage, and they are going to be a team to keep an eye on moving forward. There are still a ton of qualification tournaments taking place throughout the world, and that will keep everyone competing hard in this event.

Huge Tournament Coming

The MLBB Mid Season Cup is going to be one of the marquee events at the Esports World Cup, and that is going to be a nice collection of esports action at that event. It was unclear if this sport was going to be one that was played at that massive event, but it has been officially included.

The groups are going to be randomly drawn up, but there will be a spot that is reserved for the team that qualifies as a Wild Card. This should be a great event, and you should expect to see some great teams get in the mix.
