DetonatioN FocusMe Surging in the LJL Standings

DetonatioN FocusMe has hit its stride in the LJL, climbing to second in the standings with a chance to take on the top-ranked team this week. With a great schedule this week no one will want to miss any of the LJL action.

DetonatioN FocusMe is on an absolute tear in the LJL as they enter Week 7, currently on a five-game win streak. Last week they were able to stun Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming 2-0 which, along with their win over Crest Gaming Act, bumped them up in the standings into a tie for second. 

This Sunday will deliver the best League of Legends that the LJL has to offer, as the top four teams in the league will face off against eachother. This includes the top-ranked and undefeated Sengoku Gaming going facing off against the red-hot squad of DetonatioN FocusMe. Every game match matters as we near playoffs with only three weeks left in the regular season. 

Current LJL Standings

Sengoku Gaming took a 2-1 win over AXIZ, further extending their perfect season. However, 2-1 to the second-worst team in the league isn’t much to brag about, especially when they have to prepare for DetonatioN FocusMe, who is on a roll. Their match on Friday against Burning Core will be a good test to see how they’ll fare against DetonatioN FocusMe. Expect any negative results to affect the betting lines for the Sunday match drastically. 

Despite falling to DetonatioN FocusMe 2-0, Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming is still one of the top teams playing League of Legends in Japan. With their only losses being to Sengoku Gaming and DetonatioN FocusMe, you can expect them to be competitive in playoffs. Their Sunday match against FENNEL will tell us more about where this team stands. 

Burning Core is on a three-game win streak. Though they haven’t beaten anyone impressive, they have managed to find a win against FENNEL and have looked like a much better team in the later stretch of the season. They’ll get a shot this week to take down the undefeated Sengoku Gaming, though no one will hold it against them if they can’t get the job done. 

FENNEL is a team who has had on-again-off-again success throughout the course of this season. This week they have a chance to get people’s attention as they take on a Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming team that has had some struggles the past few weeks. If FENNEL can find the win Sunday, people will start taking this team more seriously.

Instead of having matches of the week, I have a day of the week for you. Sunday is going to be a great day for Japanese League of Legends as Sengoku Gaming takes on DetonatioN FocusMe, and FENNEL will face Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming. Both of these games will have significant implications on the top of the standings and will be a small preview of the type of action fans can expect from playoffs.
