Call of Duty League Major IV to be Played This Weekend

The 4th Major in the 2023 Call of Duty League Season is upon us. We break down the best teams in the tournament and preview the first round of the Major IV.

The Call of Duty League teams have been battling amongst themselves for the past three weeks in the Call of Duty League: Major IV Qualifiers. This weekend it will all get settled as the bracket has been set, and fans are ready for yet another Call of Duty League Major.

With 18 matches to be played over four days, you won’t want to miss any of the high pace action. You can watch it all unfold live on Twitch and the Call of Duty League website.

Call of Duty League: Major IV Seeding

Last week OpTic Texas was able to secure the last two wins necessary to have a perfect run through qualifiers. Throughout their dominant run, they only lost 3 of the 18 maps they played.

OpTic Texas come into Major IV as the #1 seed, and it will be interesting to see if anyone can stop them. Their first match is against Boston Breach, who they just beat last week 3-1.

Los Angeles Thieves had an impressive qualifier making quick work of their opponents, only dropping one map in their three wins. Their only loss is to the formidable and tournament favorite OpTic Texas. Their first match is against Minnesota ROKKR, who they just beat last week in an impressive 3-0.

Seattle Surge turned a lot of heads this past week when they took down Atlanta FaZe in a 3-0 match that shook the Call of Duty world. They now go into the playoffs as the 3rd seed.

Atlanta will get a chance at redemption in the first round of the tournament as Seattle and Atlanta are paired up against each other in what is sure to be an entertaining match.

Las Vegas had a great run through the Qualifiers stage though they fell to the London Royal Ravens. They were able to find wins over Boston, LA Guerrillas, Toronto, and Florida. They get the New York Subliners first in what will be a real test for them.

New York is coming off a strong Qualifiers where they only lost to OpTic and have faced stronger opponents than Vegas, having taken down Atlanta, Minnesota, London, and Boston.

Call of Duty League: Major IV Schedule and Betting Odds

The Florida Mutineers, Los Angeles Guerrillas, London Royal Ravens, and Toronto Ultra all ended in the bottom four in Qualifiers.
