The 2024 LEC Winter Split is now over, and there are a number of teams trying to figure out what went wrong during that action. Team Heretics is one of those teams, and that organization has decided to change up their roster before the next big event takes place.
Team Heretics is a massive esports organization, but this specific move is only reflective of its League of Legends division. Kaiser has been a fixture on this team over the past three months, but he is now being replaced by a free agent that was lurking in the market.
Adrian “Trymbi” Trybus is now joining Team Heretics, and that move is expected to take effect immediately. Kaiser has been a solid performer in this sport, but he always tends to be on some of the worst teams in the league.
He will likely be picked up by another team, and that would mark the third team that he has played for in the past year. He ended the 2023 season on Team Vitality, and that team ended up in last place in the standings.
Something had to be done by Team Heretics as they are not one that is typically struggling to pick up wins.
One of the biggest news stories of the 2023 LEC season was the fact that Trymbi was not a part of any roster throughout the action. He was a player that many teams had their eye on at different times throughout the year, but he just couldn’t land on a roster.
There will now be a ton of pressure on him to contribute right away for Team Heretics as they are desperately needing some new juice. The 23 year old has not yet won any major events with a LoL team, but this could be his one shot to get his career off and running.
His most recent stint was with Fnatic, and he didn’t exactly do much to contribute on that team. Many fans of Team Heretics have already taken to social media to express their displeasure in the roster move.
It’s not going to take long to see if this was a good move or not as the next season is set to begin soon. Trymbi will now spend some time getting to know his new teammates, and the coaching staff will be working to find a way to put each player in the best position to succeed.
The next update to League of Legends is coming soon, and it’s expected to be one that is going to bring some major changes to the game. While all of the details of Patch 14.4 have not yet been announced, there are some tidbits that have been released.
There are going to be 19 champion changes in this new release, and it’s going to take some time to work through all of those chances. While champions are not expected to change in a big way, any slight tweak will impact how the matchups are playing out.
Patch 14.4 is set to go live on February 22nd, and players are already counting down to that date. It’s strange to see an update coming on a Thursday, but this is being done due to President’s Day taking place on Monday.
There are going to be more porcelain skins available in the new patch as well as the game continues to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Six champions are going to be added to the list where a porcelain skin can be used.
