Anyone’s Legend Finds Their First Win of 2023

The impossible occurred last week in the LPL as Anyone’s Legend won their first match, that and more in this week’s LPL recap.

Anyone’s Legend shocked the competitive League of Legends world when they found their first win of the 2023 LPL year over Team WE this past Sunday. Fans worldwide were starting to wonder if the team would ever find win this split despite coming close in multiple matches. Anyone’s Legend’s win puts them in a tie for 16th and opens the door for serious movement in the standings if they’re capable of riding the newfound momentum to some more wins.

Current LPL Standings

LNG Esports has fastened its grip on the LPL as they currently sit in sole possession of the first place in the LPL. After beating Bilibili Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix, their 7-1 record is impressive, not invincible. Winning against Weibo is imperative for LNG Esports if they want to protect their lead in the standings.

Top Esports currently sits at 6-1 and in second place in the standings after their win over Edward Gaming Hycan. Top Esports’ win proves the team is capable of beating some of the top teams in the league, and they’ll have to when they face JDG Intel Esports club on Saturday if they want to catch up to LNG Esports.

JDG Intel Esports Club took a couple of steps back a couple of weeks ago but was able to turn it around this past week, climbing back in the standings as they currently sit in third with a 6-2 record. If JDG loses to Top Esports this weekend, it may be a sign that JDG Intel Esports Club is only a mediocre team this split. They’ve already lost to some of the other top teams in the league, and another loss may prove that they can only beat the bottom teams in the league.
