Censor Announces CoD Retirement

One of the legendary Call of Duty professional players has announced his retirement, and it’s going to leave a massive hole in the esports community. Doug “Censor” Martin has consistently been one of the best CoD players in the world, but he has decided that it’s time to put the controller away for good.

One of the legendary Call of Duty professional players has announced his retirement, and it’s going to leave a massive hole in the esports community. Doug “Censor” Martin has consistently been one of the best CoD players in the world, but he has decided that it’s time to put the controller away for good.

It was a 13 year career for Censor, and he became known worldwide, both by fans and his opponents. While there are players that have been playing the game for longer, none have played at as high of a level as Censor.

This announcement was made on a YouTube video and it was one that took the Call of Duty world by storm. He was currently playing with Boston Breach’s Academy team, but he has been on a number of other teams throughout his career.

Censor got his start with Team Envy and FaZe Black, but that was only a start in this legendary career. He is perhaps best known for his work in the Call of Duty League (CDL) with FaZe Clan or with the New York Subliners.

Black Ops was the first game in which Censor started to focus on, and that came all the way back in 2011. He started playing Call of Duty when esports wasn’t even a thought, but turned into someone that impacted betting lines along the way.

Unfortunately Censor was not able to win at the highest level as his best finish in a major event was just fourth place. A lot of that had to do with some of the teams that he played on, but he never shied away from a challenge.

He is planning to continue working with the CDL in the future, and he will still be featured on social media sites. In the immediate future, Censor is going to attempt to break the Guiness World Record for most pushups in a 24 hour period.

iLLey Denies Adderall Claim

The Call of Duty League Major 1 just wrapped up, and it was another terrific event. Not all of the news surrounding this event were positive though as one professional was faced with accusations that he was using Adderall.

Indervir “iLLey” Dhaliwal gave some strange answers in a post-match interview and it had some viewers convinced that he was on Adderall. Other players have admitted to using Adderall to help them get through some matches, but iLLey was not willing to admit to doing the same.

Instead, iLLey shared that he was on caffeine and that it is something that he has used in the past to help him get through tough matches. Fans were not convinced with his explanation and it led to some back and forth battles on social media.

This is not something that could lead to a suspension for iLLey, but it’s clear that he is not going to give into these allegations.

Toronto Ultra Rolls at CDL Major 1

The Grand Finals of the CDL Major 1 featured Toronto Ultra and Atlanta FaZe, but it didn’t end up being the matchup that everyone expected to see. This event was held in Boston, but it was an event that was viewed by thousands of people online.

Both of these teams are expected to be at the top of the league all season long, but it seemed as if there is a big gap in the teams in this event. Toronto Ultra picked up a dominant 4-1 win over Atlanta FaZe, and that could set the stage for a big run.

Major 2 is set to take place in Miami and the rest of the league will now have their eyes on trying to take down Toronto Ultra.
