However, if you want to take part, then you are too late as registration closed during November even though the tournament is running into February 2021. As registrations have been finalized, then they know exactly how much will be on offer, and it’s a sizeable sum.

The initial part of this Madden championship is to whittle down participants one by one until each NFL team has their own individual champion. Then, it’s a case of waiting to see who is going to ultimately be crowned the overall winner, but that will take some time to come to fruition.

Also, they have introduced a new content feature where each NFL winner will get their chance to play against the Los Angeles Chargers safety Derwin James. But that’s not the main competition.

This link with a major broadcaster is another sign of the way in which Esports has changed due to the pandemic. Business is indeed booming, and networks want a part of it. Of course, the likes of Madden was being streamed since way back in 2005 on ESPN. In fact, they still broadcast Madden to this very day thanks to its popularity.
