More Big Changes to Call of Duty

The Call of Duty League continues to bring some great excitement and entertainment, but that’s not all of the major news surrounding this game. Like other popular esports games, there have been a number of updates made to the current version of the game. 

Many of these changes came after amateur players or professionals pointed out some issues, but developers are always looking for ways to improve the game. Some of the updates will impact the Call of Duty League while others will simply change the way traditional players can play. 

PS5 Update Combats Cheating

For Call of Duty players that enjoy the game on the PS5, things are no longer going to be as easy as they once were. Cronus Zen users previously had an advantage on this gaming system, but the latest update takes that advantage away from them. 

The Cronus Zen is a modifier for the controller and it helps when aiming for a shot against another opponent. Many players considered this to be cheating as it was basically an auto-aim feature, and it made it impossible for a player to miss a shot. 

With a new update that was launched on January 24th, the Cronus Zen controller is now no longer an option as it won’t stay hooked to the controller. For players that paid the $100 price tag to get the upgrade are now holding a piece of equipment that is useless. 

While this new update was a win for those that were hoping for more fair play, it is also going to hurt players that were just looking for an opportunity. There were other modifications with the Cronus Zen that allowed everyone to be included in the game. 

Octane Provides Tips to Players

Players have long been wanting a chance for a “Ranked Play” gaming option as they didn’t want to have to battle with players that were at a higher level than them. That is now included in the most recent update on Modern Warfare 3, but many players didn’t know how to unlock the new feature.

Octane is one of the stars of the Call of Duty League, and he recently provided a tutorial on how to get to see the Ranked Play action before playing a game. All of this can be done by checking out the available weapons before a match, which some people never even thought to check. 

If players see a Smoke Grenade then the game style is going to be Search and Destroy, but if one is not available then it will be a respawn game. This is not something that is available well before the match starts, but it can provide some additional seconds of assistance. 

There could be other ways to see what mode of game is about to be played, but Octane has made it clear that this is the method that he chooses to use. 

New Weapon Unleashed in Battle Royale

The battle royale in Call of Duty Modern Warfare is going to look a bit different moving forward as a weapon has become almost too powerful. That weapon would be the assault rifle, and it is one that has been used by players since the game was launched. 

The most recent update of the game changed a lot of things, and one of the most noticeable was just how powerful this weapon could be. This is now the fastest-killing weapon in the Battle Royale, and it will be the one that everyone is hoping to get their hands on. 

Players looking to try out the new weapon should do it soon as it could be less powerful when the next update comes out.
