League of Legends continues to be an extremely popular game when it comes to esports, and it’s also one that is played at a very high level. The LCS 2024 Summer Split is currently taking place, and there have been a number of changes already made during the spring series.

This was always going to be a strange year for the 2024 LCS as some breaking news at the end of 2023 changed things in a major way. The Evil Geniuses and Golden Guardians decided to leave the league, and that left a massive hole as they were two of the top teams.

Now, it appears as if the LCS is starting to lose some of its luster as there have been some schedule changes made. Those changes might not seem like a big deal on the surface, but it’s going to keep some fans from watching their top teams.

There aren’t going to be as many live shows during the 2024 LCS, but there will still be some great action available through streaming services. League of Legends continues to be streamed more than some other games, and new streamers have been added to the mix.

It’s already been a successful start to the LCS Spring League 2024, but the action is only going to get better from there.

A Look at the Standings

FlyQuest is currently sitting on top of the standings in the LCS Spring 2024, and that could allow them to earn a bye before the postseason begins. 100 Thieves is the other team that is currently in the position of getting a bye, but they are also trying to catch up to their rivals.

The bottom two teams are eliminated from contention when the regular season ends, leaving just six teams competing in the playoffs. Those two teams are currently immortals and Shopify Rebellion, but there is still some time to make a move.

Another Super Week is coming in Week 6, and that will be a time when all of the teams are able to make a big move. The Super Week will run from March 8th through March 10th, and all of the teams will be in action many different times.

Since it doesn’t look as if any team is running away with things, that is going to lead to some incredible drama down the final stretch of the season. Even though fans won’t be able to catch all of this action in person, following along with the standings will be fun online.

Rosters Taking Shape

This has been an interesting LCS Spring 2024 to follow as many of the rosters and teams are different this time around. Now that the action has really started to pick up, it’s time to look at the rosters that each team are rolling with.

The top players for the 100 Thieves team is Sniper, and he consistently is one of the best players in the league. FakeGod is leading the Shopify Rebellion team, and he is another name to watch when checking things out.

The Jungle is always an area where teams start to separate themselves from the pack, and there are a number of players that stand out in that part of the game. Inspired has been a player to watch on the FlyQuest team, as has Blaber on the Cloud9 roster.

As long as the top players for each team continue to stay engaged then it’s pretty clear that there won’t be a ton of movement as the league moves on. The top players are going to set the tone for each team, and those players will also continue to figure things out along the way.
