Odds to Win IEM Chengdu 2024

Counter-Strike 2 has become one of the most popular games in the world of esports, and there have been some great events featuring this game in 2024. That is going to be the case again this week as it’s time for the IEM Chengdu 2024.

Counter-Strike 2 has become one of the most popular games in the world of esports, and there have been some great events featuring this game in 2024. That is going to be the case again this week as it’s time for the IEM Chengdu 2024.

It wasn’t that long ago that the top teams were competing at the PGL Major Copenhagen, but this event is going to give those top teams another chance to cash in. There is a prize pool of $250,000 available at the IEM Chengu 2024, and 16 of the top teams are going to be looking to cash in.

NAVI is not going to be competing this weekend, and they were just the champion at Copenhagen. A couple of other teams were unable to get the correct visa to compete, but there are still some great teams ready to battle it out.

Here is a look at some of the betting odds and what you can expect this week.

Two Clear Favorites

When betting on any esports tournament, there are always going to be a couple of teams that emerge as the early betting favorites. That’s the case for this tournament as well, and the top two teams are both absolutely loaded with talent.

FaZe Clan is one of the teams set to try to win this event as they currently have odds set at +225 to get that done. This team suffered a loss to NAVI in the championship in Copenhagen, and they will be looking to finish one spot better in this event.

When it comes to the top competitors to FaZe Clan, look no further than Cloud9 at +500. It wouldn’t be an upset at all if Cloud9 was to come away with the win this week, and the betting odds suggest that as well.

These two teams have had some great battles along the way already this year, and we could be in for another great battle this week.

Others in the Mix

G2 Esports and MOUZ are going to be two other teams to watch ahead of this event as their betting odds are sitting at +650. Those two teams have had success on the international stage as well, even beating FaZe Clan and Cloud9 in certain situations.

Both of those teams have yet to prove that they can be as successful playing C-S 2 as some other other forms of this game, but they are always going to be teams to watch. There is also some serious betting value in trying to take one of those teams to win the title.

Virtus.Pro comes in at +950 to come away with a title, and they are another team to keep an eye on. The betting odds really start to fall off after a certain point, but looking at Astralis and Heroic at +1000 are two other teams that should be monitored.

These betting odds are going to be adjusted as the action unfolds this week, and they will remain open until a champion is crowned.

Plenty of Ways to Watch

Like most major esports events, there will be a number of different ways to watch and follow along with the great action. Twitch and YouTube will be carrying the live streams of the action, and it will all be done through the IEM channels.

Group stage will kickoff the action in this event, and those group stage results will help place the teams in the bracket. Things will really start to heat up in the elimination stage, and it will all lead to a champion being crowned later this week.
