There have been 7 excellent weeks of Valorant action in the Valorant Champions Tour: EMEA League, all culminating with one final week as the last playoff spot is up for grabs. BBL Esports currently holds 6th place and the right to go to playoffs. However, Team Vitality and Team Heretics are still in the running for it. You won’t want to miss any of the action as the VCT: EMEA regular season comes to a thrilling conclusion.

  5. FUT Esports (4-4)
  6. BBL Esports (3-5)
  7. Team Vitality (3-5)

Race for 6th Place

BBL Esports started the season out as one of the worst teams in the league, losing their opening four matches. In Week 4, they were able to find their first win over Team Vitality. That was the first of a three-win streak as they followed the Team Vitality win with victories over Team Heretics and KOI. This week they control their destiny as winning against FUT Esports secures them the coveted 6th seed in playoffs.

Team Vitality will be hoping for a FUT Esports win, as they’ll need some help to get into playoffs. Team Vitality had the opposite start from BBL Esports, winning three of their first four matches. At the end of Week 3, they were in a tie for 2nd place in the standings. They promptly went on a four-match losing streak, leaving them with one last chance to try and qualify for playoffs. Not making the Playoffs would be the ultimate disappointment for a squad that showed so much promise early on.

Team Heretics is not mathematically out of contention, but with only two wins to their name, they will need the most help from other teams to make it to playoffs. Team Heretics’ first win was back in Week 1 in the second half of the Super Week. They then went without another win until Week 6.

For Team Heretics to snag the 6th seed, they’ll need to defeat Team Vitality, and for BBL Esports to lose to FUT Esports. In addition to that, they’ll need a four-way tie to occur, so they’ll also be watching for Karmine Corp or KOI to win their match as well. There’s a ton riding on each match this week. With so many possible outcomes, fans will be on the edge of their seats until every match of Valorant is played.
