One Week Left in LJL 2023 Spring Split

With one more weekend of League of Legends left in the LJL’s regular season in the 2023 Spring Split, the race for the last spot in playoffs is red hot. With only the top six teams in the LJL making it to playoffs, Crest Gaming Act and AXIZ find themselves in a tie for 6th place in the standings.

Will Sengoku Gaming be able to hold off DetonatioN FocusMe’s attempt to overtake them in the standings before playoffs? Will there be any movement between Burning Core and FENNEL? We will soon have all the answers when the LJL teams hit the rift one last time to wrap up the regular season.

Current LJL Standings

Sengoku Gaming had another 2-0 week last week, finding wins over Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming and V3 Esports. A win this week over Crest Gaming Act would secure first place in the LJL with a 13-1 record. Sengoku Gaming will be the team to watch out for in playoffs for any teams trying to win the title.

DetonatioN FocusMe has one lone match against AXIZ left in the season. If DetonatioN FocusMe has any hope of ending the season in first place, they will have to play absolutely perfect and hope that Crest Gaming Act helps them out. DetonatioN FocusMe has been on a hot streak to end split and is going to be one of the front runners to take it all.

Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming started the split on top, however, as the split progressed, they lost their footing and now find themselves in 3rd after another loss this past week to Sengoku Gaming. Expect Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming to come into the playoffs fired up and ready to make an improbable run.

Crest Gaming Act spent a majority of the split in 5th place though they dipped as low as 7th, which is where they are in danger of ending as well. With a match against Sengoku Gaming that is almost certainly a loss, all the attention will turn to their match against AXIZ, which will, in all likelihood, decide who will end the year in 6th and make the playoffs.

AXIZ started hot but quickly found themselves in 7th place, where they spent most of their time this season. They now look to battle out of that position and into a playoff spot with just days to go. AXIZ has matches against DetonatioN FocusMe and Crest Gaming Act. Finding the win over Crest Gaming Act will go a long way to playoffs qualification.
