Pinnacle announces partnership with North

Online bookmaker Pinnacle has announced an 18-month partnership with Danish-based esports organisation North.

The deal will see Pinnacle’s logo feature on North’s CS:GO jerseys, as well as both parties working on collaborative content.

Marco Blume, Trading Director at Pinnacle, commented on the news:

“This is a massive deal for us. We have waited so long for a team partnership because we wanted to make sure we signed with an organisation that matched our ambition and desire to take esports to the next level. North certainly ticked all the boxes and we’re really excited to start working together to enhance the experience for esports fans around the world.”

Pinnacle has seemly replaced GG.Bet as North’s main betting sponsor. The esports organisation originally signed a partnership agreement with GG.Bet back in January 2018. North also currently partners with fashion brand Adidas, peripheral company SteelSeries and Capgemini.

Jonas Gundersen, North’s Chief Commercial Officer, added:

It feels great that we are able to continue the next phase of the journey together with a such a well respected and household name that shares our ambition of narrating the esports story as it develops. Our passion for gaming is very strong, and Pinnacle really understands our aim of expanding even further.”

Pinnacle has already announced a plethora of partnership this year including the Esports Championship Series (ECS), esports data provider GameScorekeeper and UK-based charity SpecialEffect.
