T1 Secures First Place While Battle For Second Continues

With one more bye week in playoffs up for grabs which of the three teams battling will be able to secure it by the end of the week?

The last week of play before playoffs is upon the LCK. This past week was full of some great League of Legends. We saw T1 secure first place in the LCK regular season, the playoff teams become finalized, and Dplus Kia took sole possession of the second place and the coveted bye week in playoffs. With one week left of matches and Gen.G and kt Rolster will definitely be playing their best in a final attempt to get second place in the standings before the end of the regular season.

Current LCK Standings

T1 has had yet another remarkable season, which should be a surprise to none. Faker and company have had yet another near-perfect season and have secured a bye in playoffs already. Teams all over the world have been keeping an eye on this team as they all wonder how long T1’s success will last.

Dplus Kia had a nice easy 2-0 week picking up wins over NongShim REDFORCE and BRION. If they want to keep their spot in second place, they’ll have to beat two teams of much higher skill in T1 and Gen.G. Could Dplus Kia going all three games against BRION be foreshadowing for what’s to come? Only this week can tell us.

Gen.G is in third place and currently within striking distance of Dplus Kia. Though they may be behind a game currently they still control their destiny, as wins over Hanwha Life Esports and Dplus Kia could be enough to get them to second place when the dust settles.

Kt Rolster could also find themselves in second when it’s all said and done. All they can do is secure the expected wins over Kwangdong Freecs and DRX and wait to see how Gen.G and Dplus Kia do. Every game matters this week, as one of these three teams will get the bye week which could end up making all the difference.

LCK Schedule and Betting Odds

My first match of the week is T1 vs Dplus Kia. It’ll be interesting to see how focused T1 will be coming into the match, as there are no implications for their season. With a win going a long way in securing a bye week for Dplus Kia, you can expect Dplus’s best League of Legends

My other match of the week is, of course Gen.G vs Dplus Kia. We’ve already gone over what all is on the line for this one. All that’s left to do is lock in your bets, set your alarm, and pop some popcorn for what is sure to be an exciting finish to the 2023 LCK Spring Regular Season.
