Three CDL Teams Remain Undefeated Going Into Holiday Break

The Call of Duty League’s first two weeks have been fantastic we look at the undefeated teams.

The 2024 Call of Duty League season has already begun, and it’s not even 2024 yet. Fans have gotten to watch two weeks of high-level Call of Duty action on the new title: Modern Warfare III. After a few matches to get all the players back in the competitive mindset, the league is taking a few weeks off, allowing for teams at the bottom of the standings to regroup and come up with new strategies to help them put on better performances in the back half of the Qualifiers for the first major in Boston at the end of January. When the teams return from break, you can watch all of the action live exclusively on YouTube.

Miami Heretics

The Miami Heretics had a roster rebuild coming into 2024 after retaining only a single player from the roster last year in Vikul. JurNii, Lucky, and MettalZ have all joined the team and gelled nicely in the first couple weeks of the season as the team currently sits tied for 1st in the Call of Duty League standings with a 3-0 match record. They’ve yet to face any of the top teams in the league, having only been matched up against Carolina, Las Vegas, and Minnesota so far this year. It’ll be interesting to see how they play following the break as they’re scheduled against teams like Seattle and Boston, who are sure to be their toughest tests yet.

Atlanta FaZe

Atlanta entered the season as major favorites to win the Championship at the end of the year and will probably be the favorite in every match they play this season if they can live up to the hype. They have so far this tournament, having taken down Boston, Los Angeles Thieves, and a scrappy Seattle squad. They have easy matches immediately after the break, which will be a nice warm-up for the highly anticipated match against OpTic Texas to close out the Qualifiers.

New York Subliners

The New York Subliners are also 3-0, though they’ve had a much harder time getting there when compared to Atlanta and Miami so far. The first week saw them going all five maps with both OpTic Texas and Los Angeles Guerrillas before absolutely decimating Las Vegas last week. It’ll be interesting to see what adjustments the team makes over the break as they have matches against Toronto and Boston to look forward to at the end of Qualifiers.
