​Bahrain to host the BLAST Pro Series Global Final

BLAST Pro Series has announced that the Global Final will be heading to the Kingdom of Bahrain from December 13-14, 2019.

The tournament will see the top four teams from the series go head-to-head for the Championship Trophy and a chance to take home a share of the $500,000 prize pool.

We look forward to hosting the teams and their fans from around the world, and building a lasting legacy for the sport in Bahrain and beyond.” commented, H.E. Ayman Tawfiq Almoayyed, the Bahrain Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs.

The BLAST Pro Series has already played host to four events including São Paulo, Miami, Madrid, Los Angeles and Moscow. Before the Global Final, there will be one more stop in Copenhagen.

Former BLAST Pro Series winners:

Currently, Team Liquid sits at the top of the season leaderboard with 26 points. Following, Astralis are on 22 points with FaZe Clan narrowly behind them at 20 points. The top four teams will be decided after the BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen event on November 1st and 2nd.

Robbie Douek, CEO of BLAST Pro Series, added “Bahrain is the perfect place to hold the 2019 Global Final. There is already a strong and engaged base of fans, an emerging scene of talented young players, and a country famed for its welcoming hospitality. We will be bringing four of the world’s best teams to battle it out for the chance to be crowned Champion.”

This past weekend the BLAST Pro series was held in Moscow, Russia. The six participating teams were Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas, ENCE, MiBR, forZe and AVANGAR. After an intense two days, it was AVANGAR who were crowned the winners and take home $125,000 and ten points towards the BLAST Pro Series leaderboard.
