16 teams to compete in $1 million Rainbow Six Siege Invitational 2019

The competitive Rainbow Six Siege scene has been growing steadily throughout 2018, and coming into 2019 is looking to be a worthy competitor in FPS esports.

Ubisoft announced recently that a $1 million invitational tournament, featuring the sixteen best teams in Rainbow Six Siege, will take place at The Place Bell in Montreal, Canada. The event will take place from February 11th to February 19th, 2019, consisting of preliminary group stages over the first 3 days and transitioning into head-to-head brackets.

The massive prize pool is possible due to the community’s involvement. 30% of all revenue made during the on-going Road To The Six Invitational in-game event is added to the total prize pool.

 

Who has been invited?

There are teams from a number of the main regions attending, with mainly EU and NA teams filling the spots. There are a number of top esports organisations attending so we’ll definitely be up for some high tier action, as well as some strategic breach and clears throughout. The list of sixteen teams that have been invited are as follows:

Tournament schedule

The schedule for the Main event is as follows:

February 11-13: Group Phase
February 15: Quarter Finals
February 16: Semi-Finals
February 17: Grand Final
