Everything you need to know about Twitch Rivals Teamfight Tactics Showdown

Teamfight Tactics is just under a month old and Twitch Rivals is already hosting the games first official tournament. Starting July 17, 64 Twitch streamers will go head-to-head over two days for a share of the $125,000 (£99,000) prize pool.
Here is everything you need to know about the Twitch Rivals Teamfight Tactics Showdown.
The first day will see the 64 participating streamers split into two groups. There will be two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each player will play five games total, with a cash reward based on placement and the top eight from each bracket advancing to day two.
- July 17th – 9:00AM – 1:00PM PST | 4:00PM – 8:00pm GMT (Group One)
- July 17th – 1:45PM – 5:45PM | 8:45PM – 12:45AM GMT (Group Two)
Players will play four games in a round robin format, using the same point/prize structure as day one. The top 8 players will then play one final, winner-take-all, match for $5,000 and be crowned the winner.
- July 18th – 9:00AM – 1:00PM | 4:00PM – 8:00pm GMT (Global Finals)
There is a total of 64 Twitch streamers participating in the tournament. All players will be playing on the NA server, however, there will be player representation from North America, EUW, EUNE, Russia, Oceania, Brazil, Turkey, and LATAM.
HOW TO WATCH
The tournament will be streamed live on the Twitch’s Rivals channel, or you can watch your favourite streamers POV on their own personal channels.
