GG.Bet to host CS:GO ICE Challenge tournament

Popular esports betting platform GG.bet will be hosting ICE Challenge, a CS:GO tournament with a prize pool of $250,000. The event will be running at the London ExCeL Arena from the 1st – 6th of February, inviting top tier CS:GO teams to compete.

This hefty prize pool will make it the largest CS:GO tournament by prize pool value in the UK and will bring top CS:GO talent to the island.

Eight teams have been invited to the tournament to take part in online qualifiers, with 2 being eliminated before moving the tournament offline in London. The eight invited teams for this year’s GG.Bet ICE Challenge are:

  • Virtus.pro – Rank 19
  • Heroic – Rank 14
  • Natus Vincere – Rank 9
  • ENCE – Rank 12
  • GODSENT – Rank 25
  • mousesports – Rank 2
  • MAD Lions – Rank 16
  • OG – Rank 24

There will be a number of outrights and markets offered throughout the event by GG.bet, including Match Winner, Map Winner and Pistol Round Markets to name a few. We have a full esports betting review of the GG.bet platform, filled with plenty of exclusive bonuses, so be sure to check it out before placing your bet. Also when betting bear in mind that all matches will be Bo3, with the exception of the Finals being a Bo5.

Na’Vi and Mousesports have been split across Group A & B, so we expect to see them both place top of their groups in the coming weeks. We wouldn’t be surprised if we see the two teams clash in the finals. Our bet will be on Na’Vi to take the win, but it could go either way when it comes down to the wire.

GG.bet will be streaming and casting the event throughout it’s duration on their Twitch channel, so be sure to subscribe and get some bets in.
